~Care and Use~

  • Most pieces are microwave safe, and I will note whether it is or isn’t in each product’s description.

  • I only use food-safe glazes on objects that are likely to encounter food, but some pieces may have gold luster on them (which is not microwave safe)!

  • I cannot guarantee that my ceramics are dishwasher safe, since I don’t have a dishwasher and have not tried it for myself. Hand washing is recommended by many ceramic artists.

  • I try to make each piece as sturdy as possible, but accidents do happen when using ceramics daily in the home. To ensure a long life for your pieces, try to avoid exposing your pieces to temperature shock. For example: pouring boiling water into a mug that has been sitting in a cold room, or taking a dish from the refrigerator and putting it into a hot oven. Gradual warming of the pieces before each use will protect them from shock.

~Order Fulfillment~

  • Each product is categorized as either ‘Ready to ship’ or ‘Made to order’.

  • ’Ready to ship’ items are typically packed & shipped within 2-5 days.

  • ’Made to order’ items take between 3-8 weeks to produce, depending on the complexity of the item and current projects already in motion. Each ‘Made to order’ item listing gives a more specific timeframe of when you can expect that particular piece to be shipped.

  • Rush production may be available for ‘Made to order’ items, at an additional cost. If you have a rush order, please email me as soon as possible, and I will let you know whether I am able to rush your order or not. Rush orders can be produced in as little as 2-3 weeks, and is an additional $30 for each piece rush ordered.

~Shipping~

  • Shipping ceramics is scary! For just this very reason I offer free local pickup for customers in the Philly area. To activate free pickup, enter code PHILLYPICKUP at checkout. I will email you with the pickup details once I receive your order!

  • By default I ship with USPS, but am open to shipping with other carriers if requested.

  • I can only offer shipping within the US at this time, but I am looking forward to figuring out how to make international shipping work ~soon~.

  • Whenever possible, I will reuse boxes and packaging materials to pack up your order. It will look nice, if not a bit crinkled! If your order contains a gift, please let me know in a note or an email and I will pack it up extra cute!

  • As stated above, shipping ceramics is a bit terrifying. As a result, I thoughtfully and meticulously pack each item with care, in hopes of giving it the best chance possible for a safe arrival. *IF* your item arrives damaged, please photograph the box it was shipped in, and the damaged item, so I can file a damage claim. Please note that many items are one of a kind and often cannot be remade.

~Etc.~

  • All items are handmade, slight variation is to be expected.

  • {{COMING SOON}} Custom order form under construction, but coming soon! Currently not accepting custom orders/commissions until then.

  • Not accepting returns at this time, but if you have an issue with your order please get in touch.
